Optimizing the management of overheads

Insurer of private property, among the very first on the French market, and the 1st insurer of public service agents. Our client, as part of the Appli Budget Lot 1 project, had implemented a budgetary solution (based on Cognos Planning) which created constraints in regards of queries, analysis and the correctness of  data.
This insurer wished to create a data warehouse in order to optimize the management of overheads.
In order to do this, BGFI Consulting was chosen to carry out this strategic project.

Provide expertise in identifying needs

With the contribution of BGFi’s decision-making methodology, the definement of the client’s needs helped to create a functional framework for the implementation of the new data warehouse and was also beneficial for the writing of functional and technical specifications taking the following into account:
