Project SECAM Congo

The NGO SECAM was established in 2005 by Mr. Félicité Kiese Kingolo in order to solve related to the child in a difficult situation living in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The main objective of SECAM / NGO is to contribute to the development of the Congolese children to enable them to play a solid and positive role, benefiting the entire community.

Its specific objectives are:

  • Nutritional management of children housed in his orphanage
  • School care for children in difficult situations
  • Family reintegration of found and/or abandoned children
  • Medical care of children
  • Accommodation and supervision of children

Among the many Solidarity Involvement Projects started in 2017, we decided to embrace the initiative proposed by Eric-Joël Ditutu, one of our Luxemburg consultants as part of “LEARN TOGETHER”, our Social Involvement Program to support access to quality education.

We financially support the school fees, uniforms and school supplies for the children living at the SECAM orphanage in Kinshasa as well as medical equipment for their infirmary.

Our CSR teams organized a clothes collection among our collaborators in  Brussels and Luxemburg offices, and the first part of it has been delivered to the children by Eric-Joel, during his visit to Congo at the end of September. He has spent two weeks there and has kindly contributed time on his holidays to visit them, distribute the clothes and to better understand how we can keep on helping them.

The smile on children’s face was the best feedback we could receive from them. Big thank to all the people who helped us in this beautiful international project. This is the collaborative performance with a positive mindset in action.
